Empie Park would be a good place for a mother
to meet people and have conversations. Mothers usually do
end up talking to other mothers there, keeping one eye on
their children playing on the swings and slides. From the
mall on Oleander, take Independence past Hanover Center (where
the Harris Teeter is) and take a right on Park Avenue ... it's
on the left behind the fire station.

near the airport on 23rd street.
