There's real magic in telekinesis, precognition, clairvoyance and
telepathy. What they all have in common (in the beginning) is a
sense of playfulness, such that critical people dismiss them out-of-hand.
Thus, as the Sufis say, the secret protects itself. However, as
any child knows, it is playfulness, not criticism, that learns how
to ride a bicycle. I'm only bringing all this stuff up because when
you meet someone and fall in love, ... I repeatedly come back
to the idea, "We just think things and they happen."
