(Dream) Stepping away from the line a moment, with the intention of being right back, I discover the Black guy behind me, supposedly saving my place, reaching up to the counter for my corn on the cob! "You can't eat my corn, Nigger!" I cry out. Fortunately, I have a string attached to my corn, and start beating him over the head with it, swinging it like a phone off the hook!

Well, saying Nigger seems to have incensed the entire city of Berkeley, and beyond, and dwelling on the edge of an almost unfathomable hostility field, trying to get across, no matter how often people in the back seat of my cab have kidded around with me, "Nigger this, Nigger that, that's no way to act, Nigger!" the age of universal Nigger hasn't quite arrived. (Fin)

(Dream) My sister's homemade video production isn't resolving through my Mac OS 8.6, and a crew of us are gazing at the browser window with the intention of debugging it. I'm not the only programmer present, and when I suggest embedding a few PRINT calls at key points in the outer method, the others proceed as if this idea is old hat. I step away, leaving it to them. (Dream)

(Dream) David and Virginia are in the conference room, and wandering through reining in two toothbrushes, each carrying a dab of white paste, one of which slips off onto the floor, I turn around, wearing just my underpants and T-shirt, and carefully remount the errant paste. Then I try to make my way back across the room as unnoticeably as possible. (Fin)

(Dream) What are these food platter things? They're like stickers or something. How can these be food? Where is their dimension in food, or nourishment? As I wake up, the stickers turn into a (Vision) of eggs over easy! (Fin) (Fin)

What I'm really looking for is something outside these dreams, more to do with the world of inner bodily sensation, and lying in bed, remembering the dreams, following their corresponding sensations in my body, I reach the edge of a cliff, and have a (Vision) I'm gazing over the edge of a cliff at the sea below, and have no fear of falling whatsoever. (Fin)

If there's a God, it's meat, muscle and attention, Oh Holy Electromagnetism!
