(Dream) David Van Ness and I are going to a meeting at David Daniels' house, so since we're going the same way, I offer him a ride. I think much to his own surprise, he accepts and climbs into the passenger seat. On the way we're totally surprised by the fallen tree blocking the way, so have to go another way around the hill. I'm with a bunch of other people who suddenly decide we're stopping for a banquet of some kind at a roadside restaurant, and when I go in with them, and find them all dawdling over the menu, put my jacket back on without ordering anything, and go back out to the car where David Van Ness has been waiting. Just in time, too! A taxicab is arriving to pick him up, which I intercept and explain I had totally forgotten what we had been doing, though we're back on track now! (Fin)

(Dream) I'm in a marathon of some kind, though instead of actually running by foot, it's more a race through one meal after another, at one restaurant after another. (Fin)
