"//.. .// ./// ...// /.. /./ /.. .// ./../ //. ./ Why don't you want to get out of here? .. ./... //./ // ../// ../ /./ ../ //.. //.. .//. ," a whisper voice asked me after my final decision not to wake up. I went to bed last night at 8:30, and have been there until just moments ago, some eighteen hours.

It's just that, sleeping is not such a bad dream!

(Dream) I'm with Kevin, and the two of us figure out how to run two silver rods straight up the hillside, and once we do, drive up to Pike's Peak and roar back down the hill! We manage to get out without tangling the two rods too much. (Fin)

(Dream) The mathematics of doubling the size of the yard every few hours has an interesting effect on Mom. The yard thins out, it's true, but the mathematics of this thinning doesn't at all diminish the experience. When I get to work, Isma is at the gate, and I realize she's been waiting almost eighteen hours to see me. When I hear her say, "Hi!" and notice how the sound of her voice rings like twin chimes inside my head, I decide to skip work altogether. "This is why I've saved a couple of hundred dollars!" I tell her, deciding never to wake up again. (Fin)
