I thought the best thing to do was get my shoes
polished. Then tonight I went to Sam Helman's Bar Mitzvah at the
Faculty Club at Berkeley, danced just enough, then visited Jessica.
"Not tomorrow," she said, "Wednesday would be best –
Four o'clock at the circle." When you are in love, everything
