Red Hurts

What a multisyllabic day! Weather, weather, everywhere. The Golden Gate Bridge was bathed in fog, the East Bay hills hosted a steam train of cumulus-cumulus-cumulus, and contrails of cirrocumulus undulatus shot across the sky. I took notes today, at one point writing, "I miss myself!" then a few hours later discovered lavender spring blossoms among the twisted boughs of storm-bent trees – in my own back yard! Close to my computer, I discovered an electrical cord running from the base of a long-ignored globe. I'd forgotten it's illuminated! What on earth is Mauritania? A country? It looks bright burnt orange from here.
